Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details. If you sign in, your email address or phone number, used to send a verification code and to keep you signed in.
• A device identifier. A random key stored in your browser so your lessons stay with your device before you sign in.
• What you create. The subjects you type, any files or links you give Curio to build from, the lessons that result, and simple activity like which lessons you’ve opened or finished.
• Usage analytics. Privacy-friendly, cookie-free measurements such as page views, rough device and browser type, and country-level location. We don’t fingerprint you, and IP addresses are discarded after a location lookup.
• Billing. If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive a record that a payment was made and your plan status, not your full card number.

How we use it

• to build your lessons and run the app;
• to keep your account, library, and subscription working;
• to keep lessons safe and age-appropriate;
• to understand how the app is used so we can improve it; and
• to contact you about your account when needed.

AI and the things you type

To build a lesson, the subject you enter and any material you provide are sent to AI model providers that generate the text, illustrations, and narration. Please don’t enter sensitive personal information that you wouldn’t want processed this way.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the app, such as hosting and infrastructure, the AI model providers that generate lessons, Stripe for payments, and email or SMS delivery for verification codes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We don’t sell your personal information.

Cookies and sessions

We use a sign-in session cookie to keep you logged in, and the device key described above. Our analytics is cookie-free and doesn’t track you across other sites.

Children

Curious Fit Mind is built to be family-friendly, and children may use it with a parent or guardian. Where a child uses the app, we rely on a parent or guardian to consent and supervise, including setting the audience level and any parent lock. Keeping and protecting information

We keep information for as long as we need it to run the app and your account, and we take reasonable steps to protect it. When you delete a lesson it’s removed from the app, and you can ask us to close your account and remove your personal information.

Where it’s processed

Some of our providers operate overseas, so your information may be processed outside Australia. We choose providers that handle information responsibly.

Your choices

You can access or correct your information, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. To make a request or raise a privacy concern, contact us using the details below.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top.
